MANITOBA INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION STREAM
Manitoba's International Education Stream
The Manitoba International Education Stream (IES) is part of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), which itself is a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) managed by the province of Manitoba. This stream is designed specifically for international graduates from Manitoba’s higher education institutions.
Manitoba Skilled Workers Overseas Stream
Manitoba Career Employment Pathway: This pathway is geared towards international graduates who have completed their studies at a Manitoba post-secondary institution and have secured a job offer in an occupation that is in high demand within the province.
Manitoba Graduate Internship Pathway: This pathway is open to international graduates who have earned a Masters or PhD degree from a Manitoba university in the past three years and have participated in a Mitacs Elevate or Accelerate internship.
Manitoba Student Entrepreneur Pathway: This pathway focuses on international graduates who have finished their studies at a Manitoba post-secondary institution and have at least six months of experience in owning and operating a business in Manitoba.
Benefits of the Stream
Successful candidates in any of these pathways will receive a provincial nomination from Manitoba. This nomination is a crucial step towards eligibility for applying for permanent residency in Canada.
