Marital Status

– Single (never married): Generally, no supporting documents are required.
– Married: Include the marriage certificate.

2) LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY RESULTS

IRCC may have access to your language test results depending on the test taken. Nonetheless, there may be occasions when IRCC requests a copy of your language test results. To preempt potential delays in processing, including your language test results with your application is advisable. Ensure you also enclose your spouse’s language test results if applicable.

3) DOCUMENTATION OF WORK EXPERIENCE

Proof of the work experience outlined in your Express Entry profile is imperative. To demonstrate this, provide:

– Reference letters
– Electronic copies of employment contracts and, if possible, payslips samples
– If claiming Canadian work experience, submit:
– T4 tax information slips
– Notice of Assessment and Option C printouts from CRA
– A copy of your work permit/employment authorization

Your correspondence should encompass the subsequent details:

– Designation of your occupational position
– Remuneration details
– Average weekly working hours
– An exhaustive enumeration of your employment responsibilities
– Commencement and termination dates of your employment

These documents are essential for each of your employers within the preceding decade. They serve as the principal basis for IRCC to ascertain the congruence between the National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes you’ve asserted and your actual professional experience.

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) issues tax-related documents to all individuals engaged in employment within Canada. If you have laid claim to Canadian work experience, it is imperative to furnish evidence of legal employment and tax compliance.

4) DOCUMENTATION OF EDUCATION

Provide duplicates of certificates, diplomas, or degrees obtained for each completed post-secondary program for which you have claimed points. Likewise, include copies of transcripts for each completed secondary and post-secondary program. Additionally, furnish an authentic Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report.

For candidates claiming Canadian educational qualifications, substantiation of successful program completion is mandatory.

5) EVIDENCE OF FINANCIAL RESOURCES

You are obligated to furnish proof of having the necessary financial resources to support your settlement in Canada, which is commonly referred to as settlement funds. The amount of settlement funds required varies based on the size of your family. It is important to note that this requirement is waived if you possess a prearranged employment offer as indicated in your application.

6) VERIFICATION OF MEDICAL EXAMINATION

Please provide electronic copies confirming your medical examination.

7) CERTIFICATES OF POLICE CLEARANCE

You, along with all accompanying family members, are required to obtain police clearance certificates from each country in which you or they have resided for a period exceeding six months since attaining the age of 18. It is imperative to bear in mind that police clearance certificates have a validity period of 12 months. Consequently, it is prudent to delay the application for these certificates until after receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to prevent them from expiring during the processing of your application.

However, obtaining these certificates can be a time-consuming process. Given that you have only 60 days from the issuance of your ITA to submit your application, this time frame can pose challenges. If you have initiated the application for police clearance certificates but have not received them in time, it is essential to provide evidence of your application in your submission. This will afford you additional time for the certificates to be issued.

8) PHOTOGRAPHS

Kindly provide two (2) digital photographs for each applicant, including yourself, your spouse or partner, and each dependent child.

10) PROVINCIAL NOMINATION

If you have claimed points for a provincial nomination, you must supply a copy of the nomination document.

11) EVIDENCE OF FAMILY RELATIONSHIP IN CANADA

– Confirmation of Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status for your relative
– Proof of your relative’s current residence in Canada, such as utility bills, Canadian tax documents, or banking records
– Validation of your familial relationship with your relative residing in Canada

12) JOB OFFER DOCUMENTATION

While a job offer is not mandatory, if you have asserted a valid employment offer from a Canadian employer in your profile, you will need to substantiate the legitimacy of the offer by supplying the following:

– A letter from the Canadian employer extending the job offer
– The associated Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) number, if applicable
– The letter from your Canadian employer offering you the job should be printed on the company letterhead and contain your name, the company’s contact information, and the name, title, and signature of the applicant’s immediate supervisor.
– The letter must also encompass the anticipated commencement date, job title, duties and responsibilities, weekly work hours, and annual salary, including benefits. Finally, the letter must include a commitment that the applicant will be engaged in continuous, paid, full-time employment for at least one year following the issuance of permanent residence.
